Dry Ground is a ready-made texture paste in a pale sandy bone, for cracked earth and dry dusty ground. Spread it straight from the pot with a spatula or an old brush, and vary the thickness so the surface does not come out flat.
It dries matt, which means it takes drybrushing and pigments without fighting you. From AK's Wargame Terrain line. 100ml screw-top pot rather than a dropper bottle.
